Key Club

Key Club is an international student-led service organization for high school students, sponsored by Kiwanis International.

What is Key Club?

  • Founded in 1925
  • Open to high school students (typically ages 14–18)
  • Focuses on service, leadership, and character development
  • Motto: “Caring – Our Way of Life”

Relationship to Kiwanis

  • Each Key Club is sponsored by a local Kiwanis Club
  • Kiwanis members serve as mentors, advisors, and supporters
  • Together, they form part of the Kiwanis Family of service organizations:
    • Kiwanis (adults)
    • Circle K (college students)
    • Key Club (high school students)
    • Builders Club (middle school students)
    • K-Kids (elementary)

What Do Key Club Members Do?

  • Community service (food banks, cleanups, tutoring, volunteering)
  • Fundraising for causes like:
    • Pediatric health
