On Monday, March 23, 2026, a group of West Geauga KIwanians headed to the Ronald McDonald House on Euclid Avenue across from the Cleveland Clinic.
Ronald McDonald House provides comfort, care, and support for families with children who are sick around the world.
The Kiwanians had a guided tour of this beautiful facility that houses family members with children in the Cleveland Clinic and Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. It provides a more than comfortable place for families to gather and stay. They provide meals, indoor play areas for the kids as well as an outdoor recreation area.
Our experienced Kiwanis cooks (we served 1800 people pancakes the day before) prepared a meal of pierogis, chicken paprikash, flank steak, and kielbasa. We also prepared fresh vegetables for a salad bar.
We were guided by Chef Ray, who oversees the kitchen at Ronald McDonald House.
Thank you to all at the Ronald McDonald House who allowed us to participate in the Kiwanis mission to serve and help children.
Due to the power outage on March 15, 2026, the Kiwanis Breakfast was postponed and a new breakfast was added March 29, 2026. So come and have the best pancakes, French toast and sausage as well as fun conversations with all those that attend.
Dont Miss Out . Only two more weeks to enjoy delicious Pancakes, Sausage and French Toast.
Join in on this community event where Scout troops, Band members, Kiwanis Key club and of course our West Geuaga Kiwanis members come to gether with outher community organizations to produce the finest all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast in Ohio
March 1st is our first pancake breakfast fundraiser for 2026. Saturday, Feb 28, we met at the Kiwanis barn to load up the grills and all the paraphernalia needed to produce what many consider the best pancake breakfast in Ohio. Many thanks to the many hands that are making this possible. We look forward to serving you tomorrows
On Saturday, February 21, 2026, a hearty band of West Geauga Kiwanians ventured out in the cold to check out how the maple syrup was being collected and made into the delicious topping for your pancakes, starting March 1, 2026, at the West Geauga High School.
Sugar Creek Farms, in Middlefield, hosted our group and gave us an educational tour of their property and production facility. The process of collecting and distilling the volume of syrup produced was truely impressive. The amount of wood used to fire their furnaces was also evident all around Sugar Creek.
Thank you to the staff of Sugar Creek for taking the time to show us around. Also thanks to Kiwanian Bart Alcorn of Eddy Fruit Farm for arranging this tour.
All the members of the West Geauga Kiwanis are getting ready to serve you at what we consider the best Pancake Breakfast in Geauga County (many people claim it’s the best in Ohio).
We are busy ordering supplies and recruiting volunteers. (we could’t do this without you!). The Geauga County maple syrup is being gathered to top of those delicious pancakes and french toast.
Mark your calendars for the first four Sundays in March and help us raise money for all the projects we do!
